New computers are great till you try and remember how to get back into your blog.  Just spent the last hour getting into it.  Have to say though I am not upset.  I am not frustrated.  I am fiiiiinnnnnneeee.  I am drinking my coffee and feeling good.  A good cup of coffee that is fresh roasted and freshly made is the best.  Everytime I drink a cup of coffee at home I want to email my coffee roaster and tell him again how much I love his coffee.  Just saw he sells loose tea so going to have to get a bag of that.  I love a cup of hot or iced tea almost but not quite as much as I love my coffee.   I stop at Starbucks before I see my doctor so that I am not so fidgety when I am there.  A nice cup of coffee is like a warm blanket over my brain.  I relax and calm down once I have had my coffee. 
I am back and now I am not so happy.  I am very sad and hurt bad inside.  Smores my beloved old man guinea pig died.  Drew called me over and he was gone.  Looks like he just laid down to sleep.  I have had him 5 years and he was a year old then.  He was such a special boy.  He would come right up the the door for his loves.  I am going to miss him so much. 

Well the computer ended up costing us a lot more than we planned on but it was necessary.  Drew is in a graphics program at College and has to have a good computer.  Apparently from what the guy at Best Buy said part of the reason it blew up was Drew's fault.  He had an Nvidia 8800 video card that he put in 6 months ago and the power supply and the computer wasn't up to handling it.  They are now putting in as I type the new power supply in the new computer and the video card from the broken computer.  Supposed to call us later on today when it's done. 
Everyone around me seems to be getting this nasty cold.  I just hope I don't end up with it.  Drew had it, my mom has it now.  My dad had it.  I am ducking and covering from the germs.
Our dog Lucy has got an obsession about this green ball of hers.  She growls at us if we even get near the ball.  Taking her out for her walks has become difficult.  Getting around her when she is laying with her ball in the middle of the walkway is lots of fun....not!
I have been wary of bitten ankles.  She hasn't bitten them yet but I have been bit by her before when she got pissy.  I tried getting her a small knuckle bone that has been basted and smoked but no she just wants her ball.  She is a strange dog but we love her.

Rain!  I am so tired of all the rain.  I know, I know you live in Washington and what do you expect.  We didn't get much of a summer this year with all the cool days and all the rain we got over the summer now we are going into our rainy season and we are getting more rain.  Friday is the only day this week including the coming weekend where we will have a partly sunny day.  It's been over a month since we had a sunny weekend. 

Today Drew's computer went blooey.  Looks like the motherboard went bad.  Tomorrow we are off to get him a new computer.  It's the computer we  were looking at for me in a couple months.  It's a hp very nice computer.  It has 3 gigs of ram, 630 gig harddrive or is that 640?  Oh well, one or the other.  Has a Nvidia 7300 vid card.  He will remove that and put in his own vid card since his is a lot higher.  The processor is a quad core processor.  Like I said a really nice ride.  I am so jealous. LOL.  He will also have to add a gig of ram since 3 gigs isn't enough to satisfy Vista.  He had three gigs before and found his computer just wasn't running as good as it should so he added another gig.  and Vista was satisfied. 

I start the winter birthday and Christmas shopping this weekend.  Hard to believe it is already that time.  I have to birthdays over the next two months to shop for and need to get started on Christmas presents also.   I have been stumped on what to get my friend Robin for her birthday as usual.  It would help if she would make a decent list on amazon.com to shop from but she doesn't.  This year I am wimping out and getting her a gift card for the movie theatre.  She doesn't get out to the movies often and I thought her and Larry would like to be able to see a movie.  It's wimping out cause it's a gift card.  Trouble is I was stuck and her birthday is this friday.  Still stuck for Christmas but am hoping that she will add to her wish list on amazon.com by then.  Most everyone else on my list is easy.  I am trying to get the money together to get Drew a psp for Christmas this year.  I know he would love to have one. 

Have to say that we are drinking so much water now that we have a water cooler.  We go through about 7 1/2 gallons a week.  Which is good for the two of us.  I love the taste of the water now and it comes out of the cooler nice and cold.  It so nice not to get that chemical aftertaste and pipe taste we were getting from the tap water.  Well it is off to bed after I pop by a few blogs. 

Tomorrow we are taking a drive on up to Mt. Rainier for the afternoon.  I want to see the birds.  Drew wants to see the mountain.  We haven't seen it up close since we moved back.  Today went about with my mom and we bought a water cooler and then went to the water to go store and bought 3 three gallon jugs of water for them.  The water tastes so good.  Neither one of us care for our water out of the tap.  To me it tastes tinny and chemically.  The bottled water in the jugs tastes so much better.  They take the tap water and then put it through a 12 step purification process.  Our cooler can also do hot water so if I want a quick cup of tea or cocoa then there you go.  I am still reading the biography of Louisa May Alcott.  It's getting better and am enjoying it.

Been busy the last couple nights.  Last night we decided around 8pm to watch Lord of the Rings from beginning to end.  Extended versions of course.  At 4 am last night I went to bed after taking a last look at the lunar eclipse.  Tonight we watched Return of the King and just finished that.  Drew is now watching all the special features of the 3 movies.  I am heading to bed.  Mom and I have to go to her doctor tomorrow for her regular 2 week checkup.  She has had a rough day of it.  Called me last night that she had lost her upper teeth.  She searched all yesterday and today called me tonight she had found them.  Apparently she had romoved them and wrapped in a napkin and later on without thinking she threw them away.  Luckily she found them otherwise it would of cost her another 900.00 dollars for a new upper plate.

Wow it's been a while since I have written.  I have been enjoying the mostly sunny days and have been watching dvds at night.  Just watched Marie Antionette with Kirsten Dunst last night.  I watched Ultraviolet after that.  Marie Antionette was good I really enjoyed it.  Ultraviolet was mainly watching a fight scene from beginning to end.  Been going to church with my mom and studying the catetchism.  I have a lot to learn.  Got a new guinea pig a week ago.  We named him at first Reeses but changed it to Houdini.  He is 3 months old.  When we hold him he tries his best to escape.  Right now the three boys are munching down on some hay.  Well coffee is ready got to go get some.  Mmmmmm smells so good.

Have to say I loved the Harry Potter book.  It ended well.  It's been a busy week and it's so nice to know I have a quiet weekend.  I am going to stay over at my mom's tomorrow night and we are going to stay up late and watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  Just finished the second Vicki Pettersson book Taste of Night the second sign of the zodiac.  Love the series it's a fanstasy series set in Las Vegas about superheroes.  Scent of Shadows was the first book.  Now I am waiting for the third one to come out.  Talked to my sister the other day.  My Godchildren are doing so well.  Alyssa has become a cheerleader and is doing calculus in high school.  I am really proud of her.  Weston who is going into the 4th grade in the fall is already doing geometry.  I didn't do geometry till junior high.  The youngest Anjuli is growing like a weed and is already six years old.  I need to get out to Montana and see my sis and her family.  Hopefully soon.
